Our Executive Director

Jerome Bouvier’s extraordinary passion for youth has influenced his career path throughout his life. From a drug lifestyle and self destructive path in his teens and mid 20’s, his life changing accident that left him confined to a wheelchair, fuels jerome’s passion to serve youth and lead ACCESS Youth Outreach Services.

Jerome’s diverse experience includes street outreach, residential behaviour for teens, youth drug treatment, school-based prevention, manager of a county-wide program for runaway and homeless youth in Northern California, and to his current role as Executive Director of ACCESS.

Jerome is an accomplished International inspirational speaker and a contract faculty member with Douglas College and University of the Fraser Valley Child Family and Community Studies Department. He brings over 23 years’ experience working with children, youth, and families. Jerome’s innovative approach to youth engagement and program development, has been recognized in the local community, and provincially for his many contributions.

In 2004, Jerome was introduces to ACCESS (PoCoMo) and with the help of Ted Kuntz, and from a coffee shop, revitalized the organization by creating the 1st mobile drop in centre and outreach program in BC, Project Reach Out. He has continually developed new programs through ACCESS to better serve youth and address gaps in services.  Jerome was appointed as ACCESS’S Executive Director in 2006. Jerome is the visonary and creator behind ACCESS’S award winning programs.
